Autogenics' Advanced Technology AT53 is an easy-to-use, portable, surface EMG instrument for single site, dual site and ratio (A/B) monitoring. Simple enough for the EMG novice, yet featured for the most demanding practitioner. It provides both easy-to-understand patient feedback and useful statistical information. Its BUILT-IN MICROPROCESSOR provides statistical information for most clinical and research applications without the size, cost and complexity of fully-computerized systems. And, with no software to learn, you can use the AT53 EMG the day you receive it. Technology that WORKS FOR YOU. The most important aspect of EMG feedback is the quality of information it provides. Audio: The AT53 EMG uses a speaker (not a tiny piezoelectric crystal) for clear, easy-to-understand audio feedback. Your patients can easily hear the changes in their EMG activity. Audio feedback selections for each channel include: 1) piano, 2) continuous, 3) clicks, and 4) raw signal. Feedback can be provided continuously, above threshold or below threshold. Visual: Two bright, LED numerical and two fifteen segment lightbar displays provide easy-to-see visual feedback for each channel. The autoranging numerical display automatically displays the full range of EMG activity from 0.01 to 999 µV, without manual range adjustment. TPI: Additionally, you can select whether the numeric display provides real-time or time period averaged feedback every 1, 2, 4, 10 or 60 seconds making the trend of muscle activity clearer to the patient. Advanced Feedback Features SUSTAINED EMG ACTIVITY provides audio feedback when EMG activity is sustained above the threshold for a user-selectable time period. LAST VALUE ATTAINED (LVA) continuously updates and displays the maximum or minimum EMG value attained (as a target for patient motivation) while the lightbar provides real-time EMG feedback to the patient.
